The "Regret" collection draws its initial breath from my introduction to the artistry of Sergey Parajanov back in 2021. An intimate dance with his creations began to take root within me, a pas de deux that deepened when my journey led me to Armenia. The hallowed halls of the Parajanov Museum embraced me, unraveling his collage masterpieces before my eager eyes. It was here that the whispering potential of this art form seeped into my soul, intertwining with the ideas that had long taken refuge within me.

A persistent chord of concern for the status of women has harmonized through the corridors of my thoughts. This composition of mine, my collection, emerges as a symphony of visual storytelling. Through these collages, I orchestrate a dialogue on the unspoken trials of women worldwide, with a particular resonance echoing from my homeland, Iran—a land that resonates with both a majestic history and a poignant present. A land where the echoes of rights once possessed have been stolen from us, the women who stand as its heartbeat.
